I've spent my entire career helping people create spaces that actually feel like them, whether that's layered, colourful, quirky, dramatic, or quietly bold.
Good design shouldn't look like everyone else's house. It should feel like yours.— Alicia Savin,
Creative Director & Founder
Building a custom home? Tackling a major renovation? This is our most comprehensive service.
We handle the drawings, selections, contractor coordination, and design-side project management (focused on keeping the vision, design intent, and selections aligned across all trades) so you can focus on literally anything else.
We work with a range of contractors depending on the project. Sometimes clients already have a builder, sometimes we bring in our trusted top three to bid, and other times we’re introduced directly by a contractor. No matter the setup, we collaborate closely with the contractor or site lead to keep everything running smoothly.
Our role is to act as the design lead and central point of coordination for all design-related decisions throughout the build.
For homeowners who don’t need major construction but want a professionally designed and fully furnished space.
We manage furniture sourcing, colour palettes, layouts, trade coordination, and installation, along with select architectural finishes (like millwork, paint, and wallpaper) to create a fully finished home that feels cohesive, polished, and completely yours.
Not every project needs the whole buffet.
Whether you’re looking for a consultation, a professional design plan you can implement yourself, or help selecting the finishing touches, we’ve got options for every appetite.
Here’s the thing: good design costs money. So does doing it twice because you bought the wrong sofa, hated the paint colour, and now have six tile samples permanently living on your kitchen counter.
Whether you’re planning a full-scale renovation or simply need a professional eye on your space, we’ll help you understand the investment before anything gets underway.
Most of our full-service clients are undertaking larger furnishing projects, renovations, or custom home builds.
If you’re not there yet, don’t worry!
We also offer consultations and Design Lab services that give you access to our expertise without committing to the whole enchilada.
Think of it as hiring someone to worry about all the things you don’t want to worry about.
We manage planning, sourcing, contractor communication, project coordination, and styling so you can avoid spending your weekends buried in tile samples and decision fatigue.
We work on a flat fee basis for our design services, which varies depending on the scope of your project.
Following an initial consultation, we provide a clear outline of your design fee and what is included in the service. We can also give a general, high-level estimate for furnishings and finishes to help guide budgeting at the early stage.
Detailed product selections and itemized budgeting for furnishings, materials, and styling are developed once we begin the design process together. Construction costs are always managed separately by your contractor.
We regularly work throughout Vancouver, West Vancouver, North Vancouver, Kitsilano, Point Grey, Yaletown, Coal Harbour, Mount Pleasant, and surrounding communities.
We also take on projects across British Columbia, Canada, and beyond. We’re open to travel-based projects across North America and internationally, depending on scope and fit.
Absolutely!
Our Design Lab service is designed for homeowners who want a professional design direction, floor plan, and furniture recommendations while managing the implementation themselves.
Project timelines depend on the scope, structural complexity, and custom product lead times. A single-room redesign or custom furnishing package typically takes 4 to 8 weeks, while a full-home renovation or custom build in Vancouver, North Vancouver, or West Vancouver can take anywhere from 6 to 12+ months. During our initial consultation, we provide a clear project timeline tailored to your scope, factoring in local trade schedules, municipal permitting, and material lead times.
Yes, client collaboration is at the heart of our design approach! As your interior designer, we translate your lifestyle, personal taste, and functional needs into a cohesive design direction. From initial space planning for a Yaletown condo to selecting architectural finishes for a Mount Pleasant character home, we work closely with you at every milestone to ensure the final result feels uniquely yours.
We establish a transparent budgetary framework early in the process before making any purchasing commitments. To keep your project financially stress-free, we offer flat-fee design structures and high-level cost estimates for furnishings and finishes up front. Throughout the project, we track expenses, suggest high-value alternatives when appropriate, and help you prioritize investments so your Coal Harbour luxury suite or Mount Pleasant heritage home redesign stays on budget without compromising on quality.
No, you do not need to source trades independently unless you already have a preferred builder. We maintain a trusted network of experienced general contractors, electricians, painters, and millworkers across Vancouver, West Vancouver, North Vancouver, the entire Lower Mainland, and beyond. Through our full-service interior design and design-side project management, we collaborate directly with site leads to ensure our drawings, specifications, and design intent are accurately executed on site.
We source through an extensive network of trade-only showrooms, local Canadian fabricators, and global manufacturers. This gives you access to unique, high-quality furniture, lighting, and finishes that aren’t available in retail stores. Whether sourcing custom millwork for a North Shore home or durable performance fabrics for a family home in Kitsilano, we handle all procurement, order tracking, and white-glove installation delivery logistics.
Yes, we frequently incorporate cherished furniture, vintage finds, and artwork into new design plans. During our initial site assessment, we evaluate your existing pieces for scale, condition, and aesthetic fit. We then strategically blend these sentimental or high-value items into the updated layout for a layered, personalized look.
